
Mr. Oguche Agudah
Mr. Oguche Agudah is currently the founder and Managing Partner of HRISP Partners - an alternative and impact investment advisory firm.
He was most recently the Pioneer CEO of the Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (PenOp), the industry body for all licensed pension funds in Nigeria. In this role, he led strategic engagement for Nigeria’s $15 billion pension industry, working with regulators, financial markets, the media, and other stakeholders to promote national development and safeguard industry interests.
He was previously Nigeria’s Regional Director at OurCrowd, a global impact investment and venture capital firm. Earlier, he was Special Adviser on Access to Finance to Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, where he supported entrepreneurship financing and foreign investment facilitation.
He spent 14 years at Standard Chartered Bank, rising to Associate Director, and held various roles across Finance, Risk, Credit, Strategy, Corporate Finance and Client Coverage. He worked in their Lagos, South Africa and London offices whilst with Standard Chartered Bank. He is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in Nigeria, with a degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Lagos and a certification in Impact Investment from Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.
He sits on several boards including the Nigerian National Advisory Board for Impact Investment and the advisory board of Oryx Impact. He is a founding council member of the Pan African Fund Managers Alliance ( PAFMA).
His work has consistently involved building consensus, mobilizing institutional capital locally and internationally, creating governance structures, and aligning private sector interests with long-term developmental impact.
